A Classic Martini, also known as a Dry Martini, is a cocktail made with gin (eventually vodka as well), dry vermouth and garnished with a twist of lemon or a green olive.

The exact recipe for a Classic Martini can vary depending on personal preference, with some variations calling for more or less dry vermouth or using different types of gin or vodka. The drink is known for its strong, clean flavor and is typically served as an aperitif or before-dinner drink. It has become an iconic cocktail and a symbol of elegance and sophistication.
