A French Martini is a cocktail made with vodka, raspberry liqueur (such as Chambord), and pineapple juice. It is typically served in a martini glass and garnished with a raspberry or a twist of lemon.

The drink was created in the 1980s by a bartender named Keith McNally, who was working at a bar in New York City. Despite its name, the French Martini is not actually a classic martini, which typically contains gin and vermouth.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 oz. Chambord Raspberry Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Pineapple juice

Method

1. 1. Add ingredients to a shaker full of ice and shake well
   2. Strain into chilled martini glass
   3. Add lemon twist for garnish
