Mezcal Sour

A Mezcal Sour is a delicious cocktail that combines the unique, smoky flavor of Mezcal with the tartness of citrus and the sweetness of simple syrup.

You can also experiment with variations of this recipe, such as adding a dash of bitters or using different types of citrus. Mezcal is a versatile spirit that can be used in a variety of cocktails, but the Mezcal Sour is a classic that never disappoints.


      • 2 oz. Mezcal
      • 1 oz. Fresh lemon juice
      • 1/2 oz. Agave Nectar
      • 1 Egg white


        • Angostura Bitters
        • Lime Twist


          1. Add ingredients to a shaker and dry-shake (no ice) for about 20 to 30 seconds
          2. Then add ice and shake again for another 20 to 30 seconds
          3. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass
          4. Garnish with lime twist and 2 or 3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
