The Mezcal Old Fashioned is a delicious and smoky twist on the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. The result is a smoky, sweet, and complex cocktail that is perfect for sipping.

The agave nectar adds a touch of sweetness that balances out the smokiness of the mezcal, while the bitters add a depth of flavor. The orange peel garnish adds a citrusy note that complements the other flavors in the cocktail.

Ingredients:

      • 1 oz. Mezcal, 1 oz. Añejo Tequila
      • 1/2 oz. Demerara syrup (or simple syrup)
      • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
      • 2 dashes Orange bitters

    Garnish:

        • Orange Peel

      Method:

          1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well-chilled
          2. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube
          3. Squeeze orange peel over glass to extract orange oils and rub around rim, then place into glass
