The Mai Tai cocktail is a popular tropical drink that originated in the 1940s in California, but its roots are linked to Tiki culture, which celebrates the Polynesian spirit. The drink is characterized by its sweet, fruity and sour taste, which comes from a blend of its ingredients.

The drink became popular in the 1950s and 60s, thanks to the Tiki movement, and has remained a classic cocktail ever since. Today, the Mai Tai is synonymous with island life, and is a go-to drink for anyone looking to escape to a tropical paradise, even if it’s only in their imagination.
