Margarita

The Margarita is a bright and balanced tequila cocktail made with fresh lime juice and orange liqueur. This classic 3-ingredient recipe delivers the perfect combination of citrus, sweetness, and spirit.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz tequila (blanco preferred)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec)

  • Tajin or salt, for rim (optional)

  • Lime wheel, for garnish

  • Ice

Method
  1. If desired, rim a rocks or coupe glass with Tajin or salt and set aside.

  2. Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and orange liqueur to a shaker filled with ice.

  3. Shake until well chilled, about 10–15 seconds.

  4. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice (or serve up).

  5. Garnish with your preferred lime cut and serve immediately.
