Mezcal Paloma

A Mezcal Paloma is a cocktail made with mezcal, a type of smoky agave-based spirit from Mexico, and grapefruit soda.

The Mezcal Paloma is a refreshing and slightly smoky variation on the classic Paloma cocktail, which traditionally features tequila and grapefruit soda. The combination of smoky mezcal and tangy grapefruit soda is a delicious flavor pairing that is sure to be a hit with cocktail lovers.

Ingredients

      • 1 1/2 oz. Mezcal
      • 1/2 oz. Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
      • 1/2 oz. Lime juice
      • 1/4 oz. Agave Nectar
      • Grapefruit Soda

    Garnish

        • Grapefruit Wedge
        • Tajin or Salt for Rim

      Method

          1. Dip a highball glass or Collins glass into lime juice and rim with Salt or Tajin
          2. Fill with ice and set aside
          3. Add Mezcal, Ancho Reyes Liqueur, lime juice and agave nectar to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled
          4. Strain into prepared cocktail glass and top with Grapefruit Soda
          5. Garnish with grapefruit
